On the 30th of September 2016 our campus rallye took place at B24. At 08:45 am all students of B24 met in the sports’ hall. Full of excitement they waited for the announcement of the teams which had been decided by lot.

12 mixed-age teams were created with 12-13 members each, containing 1-2 members of each class (1-10). Unfortunately the 4e could not take part due to a bike safety training. After receiving some time to get to know each other, the rallye started. 12 stations had been put up in the Volkspark.

At each of them the teams had to fulfil a team task. In one of those, for example, the teams had to write the word “patience” while holding onto the pen together. So that the movement from one station to the next would not get boring, there was an additional task for that – frog jumps, newspaper and tripod run among them.

The rallye had been organised by Lisa Kaczmarek, social pedagogue in the secondary, who received strong support from Anna Jones, Lena Baldringer and Nikolai Gonska (all from the social pedagogues sector in the primary). Thanks to the help of teachers, educators, social pedagogues and parents on the day of the rallye as well as the engagement of the students the project could be put in practice. All had a lot of fun and the aims of the initiative – to bring together the primary and the secondary as well as to strengthen the B24 community spirit – could be achieved with a lot of euphoria.
